Four Years?

Wow, four years have passed since I last posted on here. A lot has changed in that four years. The boys are not as little as they used to be. In fact, we are officially out of the little kid ages. Our baby is 9 and will officially be in the "double digits" in three short months. I am a CNA now and am paid to care for Logan in the mornings, 7 days a week. Another CNA comes in 4 evenings a week, and a third comes in once a week. We have requested two evenings off because of family night and due to therapies. The Oldest and two youngest boys have attended a charter school with a classical education for the past two school years. It is a brand new school and started as a K-9 school. Adding on the next grade each year, the school will be a full K-12 charter school in the 2014-2015 school year. Cameron's class of 2015 will be the first graduating class from the school. Logan still attends public school because they meet his IEP requirements the best for him. I can't believe he is going to be in high school this year! Caleb will be in his second year of middle school and Nathanael has only two years of elementary left to attend. I will post a more current professional family photo soon and then our most recent one taken with just the boys and I from Mother's Day.

Bragging On My Boys!

Logan put his own shirt and shorts on All By Himself 2 days in a row!

Caleb had his first dance performance at the end of last month. You can view this on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiV8kqtAL9k

Cameron had his first piano recital at the end of May or beginning of June, right before school got out!

Nathanael is reading very well and hasn't even started Kindergarten yet!

Caleb is Baptized!

Caleb got baptized 3 days after his 8th birthday (3-28-2009). There were no sharks in the water and I am proud of him for making the decision to follow in Jesus' footsteps. His daddy was honored to be the one to help Caleb covenant to follow Christ.

Logan's sense of humor

Tonight as I was feeding Logan and tucking the boys into bed for the night, Caleb wanted to share something with me.
Caleb- "Guess what, Mom. You can tell how smart someone is by the size of their face."
Me-"Huh?"
Caleb- "It's true. There's this fourth-grader at school..."
Me-(interrupting) "He has a big head so he thinks he's really smart?"
Logan-(busts up laughing, his very amused belly-shaking laugh)
Me-(also laughing) "Was that funny Logan?"
Caleb-(joining in laughing)
Logan-(laughing harder)
Me- "Was that one of your classmates, Logan? With the big head who's really smart?"
All of us- (still laughing, still amused)

Believe It or Not

Believe it or not, I am actually going to start posting things on here about the boys. Keep current on what they are doing, art and cute things they make here at home or bring home from school, etc. Maybe not too exciting for the rest of you, but a record of sorts for us! I will try not to make it too dull.

Let's start with a video of something Nathanael learned to do This Winter of all things. Believe it or not!
